It’s the end of an interesting day of observations for me as I write these notes on March 12, 2008. I just wrapped up a rewarding day in Jacksonville, Fla. attending a busy job fair sponsored by the three local military bases and the Fleet and Family Support Centers. What was interesting about this day was what was being reported in the news concerning the U.S. economy and job market, and the contrast to that news I observed at this job fair.
